At the Bardstown Road Animal Clinic our goal is to treat your pets as if they were a member of our own family. We strive to keep a personal doctor patient relationship based on trust. To work as a team to exceed our clients wants, needs and expectations. Also, we will keep you well educated so you can make the best choice for your pet.

Our Staff


Dr. Derf Bridges

Dr. Bridges graduated from Auburn University in 1982. He is married and has a dog and a cat. In his free time he enjoys swimming and spending time with his family.

Office Manager

Tonya Morgan

Tonya has been working at the clinic for 23 years.  She is married and has 1 son and 4 cats. Tonya is currently an RN and she is working towards her BSN.





 Olivia is currently attending the University of Louisville. She enjoys riding horses, going to the lake and spending time with her family and friends.



Kaitlyn has been working with us since 2016. She is from Bristol, TN and her plan is to become a veterinarian. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors and with her dogs.



Kari is a Murray State graduate. Who lives in shelbyville with her two dogs Tito and Yugen. She enjoys walking her dogs, horseback riding, and kayaking.



Laura has loved being around animals since she was young and always knew she wanted to be in the animal medicine field. Laura is a licensed veterinary technician. On her free time she loves to read, crochet, cook and go on walks with her dogs Lizzie and Ava.




Amber is a graduate from IUS.  She is a huge Auburn football fan.  In her freetime she takes her dogs on walks and loves on her new kitten, Max.

Kennel Worker/Assistant


Adrienne has been working at the clinic since 2015.  She takes care of your pets that are boarding on the weekends.  She currently in school to acheive a degree in Biology. In her free time she likes to go hiking and spend time with her dog Red.
