At the Bardstown Road Animal Clinic our goal is to treat your pets as if they were a member of our own family. We strive to keep a personal doctor patient relationship based on trust. To work as a team to exceed our clients wants, needs and expectations. Also, we will keep you well educated so you can make the best choice for your pet.

Our Staff

Veterinarian

Dr. Derf Bridges

Dr. Bridges graduated from Auburn University in 1982. He is married and has a dog and a cat. In his free time he enjoys swimming and spending time with his family.

Office Manager

Tonya Morgan

Tonya has been working at the clinic for 28 years.  She is married and has 1 son and 4 cats. Tonya is a RN and works part time at a hospital in Louisville.

 

Receptionists/Assistants

 Nicole


Nicole lives in Bardstown, KY and is a mom of 3 boys, 2 dogs and several kitties.  She loves to craft and is very active in rescue work.

Nash 

 

Nash is a Biomedical Science student from Puerto Rico who came here with hopes of better opportunities.  She is very grateful to Bardstown Rd Animal Clinic for giving her the chance to learn and for the furry family she's gotten to be a part of. 

 

Technicians

 Kari 

Kari is a Murray State graduate. Who lives in shelbyville with her two dogs Tito and Yugen. She enjoys walking her dogs, horseback riding, and kayaking.

AVERY

 

 I'm Avery a pre Vet major at Murray State University.  My favorites animals are giraffes and gorillas too!  Although I don't have a dog or cat, I do have a leopard gecko and two clownfish.  Besides animals I love my Faith, Family, Friends and exercise.  And I love helping others!!

Haleigh

Haleigh is currently enrolled in Purdue Universities veterinary nursing program with the goal of becoming a certified veterinary technician.  She has two rabbits named Rosie and Barney.  Haleigh enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
